On Film | India

I am coming up on two months since I’ve been back from India…

last weekend, I finally brought in my film to be developed.

These photos tell a better story of my time living in Rishikesh better than I can attempt to explain. From the rice fields, the few pieces of clothing hung to dry, to the beaches snugged high in the Himalayan Mountains, to the photos mid-bus ride and coffee breaks with strangers who eventually became some of my dearest friends. All these photos encapsulate my time in Rishikesh, when I wasn’t practicing yoga for hours on end. These fleeting moments in time now snap shots saved forever. They are beautiful and warm and quiet and a little melancholy. But, no matter the moment, always a lesson weaved into the development, always a call to something bigger.

As the we go on and the days roll forward, I am determined to keep these teachings close to my heart and try to share them with others who care to listen.
